Orange County Math Circle Thanksgiving Tournament Results Announced

On November 28, 2009, 102 students from 46 schools participated in the 2009 Orange County Math Circle Thanksgiving Tournament run by 19 high school and middle school volunteers.  The winners of each grade are:

• Third Grade: Kyle Kishimoto, Fairmond Private School
• Fouth Grade: Jiyun Park, Turtle Rock Elementary School
• Fifth Grade: Harrison Ku, Turtle Rock Elementary School
• Sixth Grade: Han Chin, VanDamme Academy

In addition to Han, who won the sixth grade division, other Avid students in the top-six include third graders Michelle Hung and Hunry Song, fourth graders Calvin Brown, Ethan Yoshioka, and Matthew Choi, fifth grader Brian Choi, Mitchell Wong, and Justin Li, sixth grader Benjamin Most, Evan Yu, and Ankur Gupta.  Congratulations to all participants and winners.
