Dr. George Lenchner Passed Away
Dr. George Lenchner, the creater of the Mathmatical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools passed away on April 23, 2006 at the age of 88.
The problem solving community lost one of its distinguished leaders in Dr. George Lenchner on April 23, 2006 due to a head accident when he fell down. He was 88 years old.
Dr. Lenchner was the founder of Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS) and the author of the influencial book titled Create Problem Solving in School Mathematics.
