Bobby Shen won 2009 National Mathcounts

2009 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition was held on May 6 at Walt Disney World's Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.  228 talented middle school mathematicians from all 50 states and U.S. territories participated.  Bobby Shen of Texas is the 2009 MATHCOUNTS National Champion.  David Yang, a home school 7th grader from Walnut, placed first in the written competition and Max Schindler of Missouri won the Master Round contest.

In the team competition, Texas placed first and California placed 4th.
