2006 USA Biology Olympiad Finalists Announced
Center for Excellence in Education announced the 20 finalists for 2006 USA Biology Olympiad Team. Three Southern California students made the finalists.
Center for Excellence in Education announced 2006 USA Biology Olympiad Finalists. Jawon Lee and Victoria Wong of Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, and Kai Qiu of University High School in Irvine made the finalists.
The 20 finalists were selected from more than 7,000 registered students and 629 semi-finalists. The finalists will attend the final training and U.S. Competition at George Mason University from June 1 - 16 to form the final USABO Team. The International Biology Olympiad will be held in Rio Cuarto, Argentina, July 9 - 16, 2006.
