Kevin Zhang and Larry Zhang Finished 1-2 at Riverside/San Bernadino MATHCOUNTS

Avid Academy 7th grade students Kevin and Larry Zhang, representing Suzanne Middle School, participated in the Riverside/San Bernadino Chapter MATHCOUNTS on Saturday, February 15.  Kevin finished first in individual and countdown competition and Larry finished second in both contests.  They also helped Suzanne capture team first place.  Kevin and Larry both advanced to the State MATHCOUNTS to be held at UCI on March 21, 2009.
