Three Avid Students Advance to 2009 US Physics Olympiad Quarter Final Round
AAPT (American Association of Physics Teachers) announced the results of the 2009 US Physics Team Preliminary Round exam. Nationally, 400 students advanced to the quarter final round to be held in the first week of March. Three Avid Academy students advanced to the quarter final round:
- Jonathan Elzur, 11th grade - Tarbut V'Tora School
- Johnny Li, 10th grade - St. Margaret's Episcopal School
- Dai Yang, 9th grade - University High School
