Four Avid Students Achieve Perfect Scores on 2010 AMC 8 Contest

American Mathematical Competition released the results of 2010 AMC 8 Competition.  Four Avid Academy students achieved perfect scores and became the latest AMC 8 State Winners.  Their accomplishment continues the five-year streak wherein at least two students of Avid have aced the AMC 8 competitions each year.

In addition, 21 students received National Certificate of Distinction which commemorates those students who score in the top 1% of about 180,000 participants; 41 students received National Honor Rolls Certificates awarded to students who scored in the top 5%; and 30 students received National Merit Certificates awarded to outstanding students in grades 6th or lower.
