American Invitation Mathematics Exam. If you score in the top 1% or >=118.5 on AMC10 and top 5% or >=88.5 on AMC12, you are invited to take the AIME.
Avid Academy will offer 2011 AIME Contests for students who qualified for AIME while taking the AMC10/12 exam at Avid.
