Two Avid Students Advanced to the Quarter-Final Exam of 2008 U.S. Physics Olympiad Competition


The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) just announced winners of the 2008 U.S. Physics Team selection preliminary exam.  415 students qualified for the quarter-final exam.  A little over 10% (49 students) of the winners are from the state of California.  Among them are two students from Avid Academy Physics Olympiad Training Program:

    • Johnny Li, 9th Grade, St. Margaret's Episcopal School
    • Nick Wan, 11th Grade, Sage Hills High School
