Customized Coach Programs:

Customized coaching with private, semi-private, and quartet settings are available upon request.  Email us at info@AvidAcademy.com to discuss your goals.

Homework Assignments

For classes that meet 1.5 hours per week, we expect students to spend about one hour on homework assignments.  For classes that meet 2 hours per week, we expect students to spend 1.5 - 2 hours per week.  We also assign optional homework to challenge the bright and eager students.  Homeworks are graded and selected homework solutions are available when homework is returned.  Unable to complete homework ontime regularily will lead to dismisal from the program.

Tuitions, Fees and Scholarships

Tuitions

Tuitions are based on sessions.  Each class consists of three sessions: Fall 2009, Winter 2010, and Spring 2010.  Each session offers a total of 15 - 20 hours of instruction.  Classes meet once a week for ten weeks.  Tuitions vary based on the length and location of each program.  Email us at info@AvidAcademy.com for more details.

A limited number of need-based scholarships may be available to qualified students.  To be considered for a need-based scholarship, please send a copy of your most recent tax return form to Avid Academy, 4199 Campus Drive, Suite 550, Irvine, CA 92612.

Materials

The materials fees cover the costs of math contest participation fees, classroom handouts, problem sets, and other instructional materials.

Problem Solving Textbook

Some of the programs may require textbooks.  Problem solving textbook prices range from $25.00 - $55.00 depending on training programs.  Textbook fees are not a part of the tuition or materials fees.  Students can purchase the textbook either from Avid Academy or from respective vendors directly.  In most cases, one textbook will be used for all three sessions throughout the entire academic year.
