Qualification
The Math Olympiad Training classes are extra-curricular programs designed to fill in the gaps, expand scope, and add depth to the study of mathematics. The requirements for each program specify the subject course that the students should have either completed or will be taking it concurrently at schools. Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basic for qualified students. Some programs require a qualifying exam before a student can be registered. Registration

Schedule and Location
The following classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at UCI University Plaza, 4199 Campus Drive, Suite 550, Irvine and on Saturdays at Room GH121 Concordia University, Irvine.

The training programs are organized into three ten-week sessions:
- Fall Session: September 8, 2008 - November 15, 2008
- Winter Session: December 1, 2008 - February 28, 2009
- Spring Session: March 2, 2009 - May 23, 2009
Avid Academy reserves the right to cancel any classes with insufficient enrollment.

Tuitions, Fees and Scholarships
Tuitions
Tuitions are based on sessions. Each class consists of three sessions: Fall 2008, Winter 2009, and Spring 2009. Each session offers a total of 15 hours of instruction for F-level classes and 20 hours of instruction for E-, G-, and N-level classes. Classes meet once a week for ten weeks. Tuitions vary based on the length and location of each program. Email us at info@AvidAcademy.com for more details.
A limited number of need-based scholarships may be available to qualified students. To be considered for a need-based scholarship, please send a copy of your most recent tax return form to Avid Academy, 4199 Campus Drive, Suite 550, Irvine, CA 92612.
Materials
The materials fee is $30.00 per session. It covers the costs of math contest participation fees, classroom handouts, problem sets, and other instructional materials. It does not cover the costs of problem solving textbooks.
Problem Solving Textbook
Most of the classes require textbooks. Problem solving textbook prices range from $25.00 - $55.00 depending on training programs. The cost of the textbook will be billed separately.
